The
Northwest Colorado Center for Independence (NWCCI)
is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering individuals of all ages with disabilities to live independently. We are expanding our Board of Directors and seeking passionate individuals who want to make a meaningful difference and help shape the future of our organization.
We especially welcome individuals with lived experience with disability, as well as those with experience in consumer advocacy, legal matters, nonprofit leadership, or Independent Living.
What You'll Do:
Board members work closely with the Co-Directors to provide leadership and strategic direction, oversee programs and finances, ensure regulatory compliance, and support NWCCI’s mission and the communities we serve.
The Board meets 10 times per year, with members encouraged to participate in NWCCI events and activities.
Your Voice Matters:
Your experience, perspective, and commitment to the community can help strengthen independent living throughout Rio Blanco, Moffat, Routt, Grand, and Summit Counties.
Interested in serving? We'd love to hear from you.
Join us in building stronger, more inclusive communities where everyone has the opportunity to live independently.
